Marco Wilson is keeping it in the family.

The four-star cornerback, whose brother is Florida starting cornerback Quincy Wilson, committed to the Gators on Monday. He announced his decision on the “GridironStuds Show” (no affiliation with Gridiron Now) and then reaffirmed his commitment on Twitter minutes later.

Wilson, from American Heritage School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, picked Florida over Georgia, Ohio State, USC and Miami, where his father, Chad, was a cornerback from 1992-94. The 6-foot, 180-pound prospect had 30 total offers.

According to 247Sports Composite, Wilson is a top-30 cornerback nationally and a top-35 prospect in Florida.

Wilson’s commitment comes just under two weeks after he made his most recent unofficial visit to the school on July 23. The Gators offered him in March 2015.

Florida now has 13 commitments in its 2017 class, and its second cornerback behind four-star Elijah Blades who committed in June. Wilson’s high school teammate, three-star linebacker James Houston, committed to the Gators on July 22.

Quincy Wilson tweeted out his excitement not long after his brother committed.

Gators cornerback Jalen Tabor, the team’s other current starter at the position, also reacted positively to Marco Wilson’s commitment.
