Three-star offensive lineman Hunter Brannon made his commitment on the spot.
After impressing at Alabama’s camp Saturday, Brannon was offered and immediately committed to the Crimson Tide. He made the news public on Twitter.

Brannon, a Cullman, Alabama native, chose Alabama over offers from Troy, Southern Miss, Appalachian State, Jacksonville State and Central Arkansas. He helps bring the Crimson Tide’s 2017 class commitment total to 17, after top junior college cornerback Jhavonte Dean also committed Saturday.
While currently listed as an offensive tackle according to 247Sports, Brannon (6 feet 4, 290 pounds) likely will play inside at Alabama.
According to AL.com, Brannon’s uncles are the Britt brothers – Wesley, Taylor and Justin – all former Crimson Tide offensive linemen. Wesley played in the NFL for the New England Patriots from 2005-08.
To date, the Crimson Tide has two other offensive linemen – five-star offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood and top junior college offensive tackle and prospect Elliot Baker – committed in its 2017 class.
Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin serves as Brannon’s primary recruiter.
