Georgia coach Kirby Smart’s quest to add depth and size to his lines got a boost Monday with the commitment of three-star defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt. Wyatt flipped his commitment to the Bulldogs from South Carolina.
Wyatt (6 feet 4, 300 pounds), from Decatur (Ga.) Towers in the Atlanta suburbs, originally committed to the Gamecocks in June. He attended a Georgia camp in July.
Wyatt is the second defensive lineman who has pledged to Georgia. The other is five-star defensive end Robert Beal, who attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. Beal is from the Atlanta suburb of Norcross.
Wyatt is Georgia's 15th commitment overall.
