Four-star offensive lineman T.J. Moore committed to South Carolina on Monday.
The 6-foot-5½, 280-pound Moore, who holds 10 other offers, chose the Gamecocks over Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee and North Carolina, among others.
“I just feel like I’m at home at South Carolina,” Moore told The State. “You know, I had a great relationship with (offensive line) Coach (Shawn) Elliott from day one and Coach Muschamp. I think he’s going to be able to turn things around.”
Moore, who is entering his senior season at Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a top-30 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 6 prospect in North Carolina, according to 247Sports Composite.
South Carolina now has 19 players committed in its 2017 class. Moore is the Gamecocks’ second-highest ranked commit behind four-star athlete Shi Smith.
